COMPETITION FOR THE BEST SERBIA GIBANICA - rose gibana.

Gibanica rose, ingredients:

  • 500 g pie crust
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups of yogurt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups of oil
  • baking powder
  • a bit of salt

To charge:

  • 400 g of small cheese

Coating:

  • one egg yolk
  • spoon of water
  • Sesame

Gibanica rose, preparation:

  • Make a mixture of eggs, yogurt, flour, oil. Add baking powder and salt. Coat the crust with this mixture, then put another one on top.
  • Spread that crust, then fold them together in half.
  • Then, coat again, then fold in half. Then, spread, then sprinkle with fine cheese.
  • Fold it in half again, then roll it into a circle and arrange it in a tray.
  • Repeat the process until you have used all the rind and cheese.
  • Coat the circles with egg yolk mixed with a little water and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Bake at a temperature of 190 for about 30 min. Pleasant!
